An Easy, Special Treat!
Oh, what a wonderful day when friends are coming over and your goal is to treat them as guests. You know, when you really go all out, not to impress - heavens no, but to make sure everything is in order, to make sure every one has a good time and to make every bite a fascinating plea for more. That's what friends are for, right? To treat them in a special way so an enjoyable time will be had by all. Who knows, they might even talk about it for weeks. 1/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons dry vermouth or chicken broth
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground mace
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 pounds small shrimp, cooked, finely chopped - divided
6 green onions, finely chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 cup chopped pistachio nuts

Another shrimp delight! This reminds of other Southern shrimp pastes that I also love, but you've really made it something fantastic here with the seasonings you've used as well as one of my weaknesses-pistachios.
