Our Favorite Banana Pudding
This recipe is from Mary Johnson of Semmes AL. Whenever we have a family get-together, this pudding is always a featured dessert. It's a cool, creamy dessert full of vanilla richness with just the right amount of bananas. Try it ~ it will become one of your family favorites as well.
Mary's Blue Ribbon Banana Pudding
3 cups milk
1 -8 oz sour cream
1/2 carton Cool Whip
Vanilla Wafers
Sliced bananas
This is just one of our family favorites in my Grits to Guacamole cookbook.

Would you believe I never made this??? It looks great and the family loves bananas... shame on me! Drick, now that you've made this wonderful I have no excuse. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly the banana pudding recipe I grew up with and adore...it's truely an all-American desert. I like it best the next day when the vanilla wafers soften up. How nice to see this.
